Saturn jasper, named for the ring patterns in the stone, reminding you of the rings around the planet of Saturn. The colour varies from browns, greens and gold. It is said to be the mineral content of sediments of ash.
I have designed this necklace by teaming the saturn jasper with freshwater rice shaped pearls, and adding tiny gold plated spacer beads between. It measures 18" (46cm) long, and I have added a gold plated "nickel free" clasp and extension chain to comply with EU directives.
