Yellow Sea Sediment and Onyx Earrings
A gift of beauty, sea sediment collected from the yellow Sea. Perfect to wear with autumnal garments that resemble the fallen leaves of a deciduous forest.
Yellow sea sediment is a form of jasper, that is the colour of the golden sand found in the yellow sea.
Onyx is a dyed microcrystaline quartz, that is naturally brown or grey when mined. However it ishighly polished, heat treated and dyed to enhance its colour and quality.
I have lovingly designed these earrings using 18 x 13mm pillow shaped beads, and 4mm onyx round beads. I have fitted them to gold plated "nickel free" earring posts and scrolls, to comply with EU directives.
