Turquoise necklace made with strange-polygon shaped chunky turquoise beads and onyx spacers.
Turquoise is one of the first gemstones ever to be mined, and it is famed for its intense colour, which ranges from green to sky blue. The colour variations are due to the amounts of copper and iron present.
Black onyx is a dyed microcrystaline quartz, that is naturally brown or grey when mined. The stones are highly polished, heat treated and dyed to enhance their appearance.
This is an exclusive piece of jewellery. This turquoise and onyx necklace measures 26" (66cm) long. Strung with twelve 19 x 33mm strikingly dense turquoise beads and spaced with 4mm onyx round beads plus silver plated seed beads.
The silver plated clasp and seed beads are all "nickel free" to comly with EU directives.
