The rich, highly polished, green/blue colour of this Azurite Chrysocolla necklace. Lovingly crafted to wear on a special occassion or with a simple classic suit.
Azurite Chrysocolla is a soft, deep blue with flashes of rich malachite green. A copper mineral produced by weathering of copper ore deposits. The blue of azurite is exceptionally deep and clear, and for that reason the mineral has tended to be associated with the deep blue colour of winter skies.
This stunning necklace measures 18.5" (47cm) long and I have finished it with a silver plated "Nickel Free" clasp to comply with EU directives.
