Imperial purple amethyst guardian angel pendant. Majestically carved, and polished to an angel design. The birthstone for anyone born under the sign of Aquarious (water bearer) Jan 20 - Feb 18.
Amethyst grows in Geodes, and the tone of the quartz changes from deep imperial purple, to a very pale almost lavender, due to its iron content. You will sometimes find what appears to be marks on larger Amethyst beads, but this is where the bead has been polished, and elements of the quartz still exist. Therefore the colour of the pendant may differ from the one shown.
The pendant measures 23mm x 23mm and has a "Nickel Free" bail fitted to the top to comply with EU directives.
