Deep Imperial Purple Amethyst Button Necklace. Lovingly crafted to a majestic design. A must have birthstone for anyone born under the sign of Aquarious (water bearer) Jan 20 - Feb 18.
Amethyst grows in Geodes and the tone of the quartz changes from deep imperial purple to a very pale almost lavender due to its iron content. You will sometimes find what appears to be marks on larger Amethyst beads but this is where the bead has been polished and elements of the quartz still exist.
I have made this necklace with round button shaped amethyst beads and separated them with silver plated round spacer beads. It measures 18" (46cm) long. Brilliant for all those ladies that wish to wear something elegant. I have also added a 4cm extension chain so that it can be lengthened even further.
The silver plated beads and clasp are "Nickel Free" to comply with EU directives.
